Finishing Pottery Workshop

FINISHING POTTERY WORKSHOP: This workshop is a special offering for current returning students to be able to work on pottery pieces that they have started in another class. This is for Trimming or Glazing only. (No new students or throwing in this session.)

TRIMMING: Using pottery tools for trimming and carving pieces to prepare them for bisque firing. 

GLAZING: Using pottery glaze and a variety of techniques in glazing bisque fired pieces to add final touches before the final glaze firing.

Ages: 8+ (We do not recommend children under this age to attend this class. We have other clay classes just for kids that they may attend.)

*** NOTICE Effective August 2025: The BEGINNER POTTERY WHEEL class is being phased out and replaced to better suit the needs of the process and students finishing work. *** 

***For Beginners who are interested in just trying out the pottery process you may choose to take the POTTERY SPIN WORKSHOP just for fun! Nothing is kept.

***For Beginners who wish to learn more of the pottery wheel process you may choose to take an INTRO TO THE POTTERY WHEEL COURSE and be able to learn and practice skills as well as make pieces to finish and keep.

***We also have an INTERMEDIATE and an ADVANCED class coming this Fall 2025.
