CLAYWORKS Pottery Class

Throw. Build. Sculpt. Glaze. This ongoing clay class has the works! Embark on your pottery making journey as you learn throwing clay on the potter's wheel and handbuilding skills in this perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and experience working with clay ceramics. You may spend your time practicing the process or design your own project with instructor led step-by-step direction and technique assistance. 

We will offer project ideas to create where you will be able to add your own special touches and make it your own design as you practice wedging, molding, making pinch pots, coil sculptures, slab work boxes, trimming and carving, as well glaze decorating your pieces. All levels of Adults and Kids ages 8+ are welcome in this class. All shared materials included. More supplies available for purchase as needed.

Choose from two options to book your session:

• One-Time Session: One class to create one piece to keep and we will paint it for you in your choice of one glaze color. (Once and done!)

• Class 3-Pack: This package includes 3 class sessions where you may do the complete process of sculpting, trimming, and glaze painting your own pieces. With this option, you may book sessions as your schedule allows. 

***PLEASE NOTE: Pick up is usually within 2 weeks from creation depending on thickness of the clay for drying and kiln firing time. All pieces made in a class must be completed during class time and picked up after firing. We do not hold pieces past 30 days. ***
