Beginner Watercolor Painting w/April

This watercolor painting class is perfect for beginners who want  to learn tips and techniques customized for what you want to paint. We discuss your ideas for a project and make plans for design and process work, then students get personalized technique assistance to create the effects desired.

What you will learn:

•  Types of watercolor paints and how to use them
•  How to apply paints and brushstroke techniques
•  Use of Color and how to mix them
•  How to apply wet on wet efficiently
•  Difference between Sectioning and Layering
•  Cold Press and Hot Press Papers 

This is a 3-week course that meets once a week for three consecutive weeks for ages 13 and up. Surfaces and basic shared materials included. Additional supplies available for purchase as needed.
