Pottery Wheel Experience Class

Come throw some clay… on the pottery wheel that is! You can experience the joy of ceramics in this introductory class for anyone interested in attempting the basics of wheel thrown pottery. No prior experience needed, no expectations, nothing is kept, it’s just to try out for fun!

What's included: 

• Instructor led 2-hour class for students ages 8+ 
• Demonstration of the wheel throwing process 
• Time to practice wedging and centering clay on the wheel
• Experimentation to attempt making a pot, bowl, or dish
• Shared tools and 3 lbs of clay to try it out!

 ***Please note: This class is just for an experience only. Pottery is a process. It takes at least 3 class sessions to make pottery to keep and finish. If you wish to continue the pottery making process, you are welcome to come to one of our Beginner Pottery Class sessions or Book a Seat in our Intro to the Pottery Wheel 3-week Course.
